Passing Strategy for PMP Exam

PMP (Project Management Professional) is the most reputable project management certification from Project Management Institute (PMI), USA which is equivalently accredited around the world.
Nowadays, organizations prefer to hire PMP holders for project management or similar job roles.
PMP certification validates three domains:
- People (42% questions)
- Process (50% questions)
- Business Environment (8% questions)
There are more than 1,200,000 PMP certification holders worldwide.
To pass PMP, you should have dedication, commitment, and lots of practice. We are sharing an effective strategy that you can apply to pass your PMP on the first attempt.
- Prepare a study plan – minimum 3 months
- PMP exam is based on Exam Content Outline (ECO published by PMI on January 2021)
- Follow the domains, tasks, and enablers mentioned in the ECO
- Read PMBOK 7, PMBOK/ Process Groups: A Practice Guide, and Agile Practice Guide (these are the books to be referred to at the minimum level)
- Learn the process sequences of performance domains (simply, the Knowledge Areas)
- Check only important equations (currently, the PMP exam contains very few maths questions. Sometimes, not even a single maths question)
- Practice as many PMP questions from multiple sources (mandatory)
- Attend 3-4 mock exams, check the score, and strengthen weak areas (mandatory)
- When you attend exam simulators (mock exams), it help you to improve subject knowledge.
- When you get a score of 80% or above (Risk mitigation), then you can proceed to the exam
- Remember, you are a project manager, so you should grab like a PM and write the exam like a PM
